Soo...I didn't pass my PT test. I actually did worse than last time.
Uhg, if you had seen me ....
Anyways, so I'm the only girl now in well...everything. I believe there is ONE other girl but I never see her. And I go to everything and never complain and...what am I talking about?
So what if I did worse. I know that I am stronger and I can feel and see that, my squad supports me as does my head sergeant, and they encourage me in everything I do and I in turn do the same. I'm on time and I do my best even if my best isn't up to par with their speed.
I am an American Soldier
I am a Warrior and a member of a team.
I serve the people of the United States and live
the Army Values.
I will always place the mission first.
I will never accept defeat.
I will never quit.
I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough,
trained and proficient in my Warrior tasks and drills.
I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself.
I am an expert and I am a professional.
I stand ready to deploy, engage, and destroy the enemies
of the United States of America in close combat.
I am a guardian of freedom and the American way of life.
I am an American Soldier.
This is the path that I am on now, and I will follow this creed for the rest of my life. I do not regret making this choice to go into the ROTC program and I never will. My team is my family, they are my support and I will not be a burden to them by crying and feeling sorry for myself. I will not quit.
I am an American Soldier
Keep it up Amey! You can do it! I am so proud of you!
